Meet Big Foot:
They are a determined little duck who keeps moving even when things feel uneven, holds both pride and impatience at once, and reminds us that growth is rarely as smooth as we imagine it will be.

Journal Day 3:
He was stitched during a long drive. The motion made everything feel slightly wonky. The tension was not perfect. The rhythm was off. But I was committed to seeing him come alive, and that commitment overrode comfort.

This week in class we explored growth mindset and the idea of cherished outcomes. I noticed something honest as I worked on him. Even though this was only my third duck, I expected it to feel easier already. I imagined the pride at the end, but in the middle there was a flicker of disappointment that the practice was not yet second nature.

Big Foot carries that lesson.
