Meet Bean:
Bean is a tiny duck with a big presence. She gently challenges the idea that smaller means simpler, reminding us that the details ask for care, attention, and intention. A reflection of how the smallest things often hold the most meaning—and how, over time, those small, thoughtful moments quietly build something extraordinary.
Journal Day 34:
I thought this one might be quicker.
Smaller duck, less time.
But the stitch count is the same.
Only the materials changed.
And somehow, working smaller asked more of me.
More precision.
More attention.
More patience in the details.
It made me wonder how often I assume something will be easier just because it looks smaller.
Bean might be my favourite so far.
There is something so satisfying about her.
A reminder that small things matter.
They bring joy.
They are the nuance.
The texture.
The part of life that often goes unnoticed but changes everything.
And when you stay with them—
when you let them build, slowly, steadily—
they become something much greater than they first appeared.
