Meet Caramel:
Caramel is warm, sweet, and quietly comforting. A little reminder that sometimes making something simply because it brings you joy is reason enough.

Journal Day 35:
There are things we do because they are productive.
Because they move something forward.
Because they make sense.

And then there are things we do simply because we like them.

I think I have underestimated the importance of that.

Making these ducks serves no grand purpose.
They do not need to exist.

But Caramel exists now because I wanted to make her.

And there is something wonderfully freeing about that.

Not everything needs to become something bigger.
Not every interest needs a goal.
Not every hour needs to prove its worth.

Sometimes the things we choose simply because they delight us are doing more than we realize.

Maybe joy is productive enough.
