Peekaboo carrot crew!

Meet The Carrot Crew:
Carrot Crew is a tightly knit bunch who prefer to stay grounded. Equal parts practical and playful, they keep things rooted while occasionally popping up to see what is going on. They are the kind who grow quietly beneath the surface, then suddenly make an appearance like they have been there all along. Unbothered, a little cheeky, and very comfortable in their patch.

Journal Day 25,26,27,28,29:
Carrot Crew came from the endless stream of crochet videos my algorithm keeps feeding me. I had been watching, saving, thinking maybe one day, and then suddenly I was making them.

This one felt different right away. They flowed. One carrot, then another, then another, each with a tiny duck peeking out. I could not wait to keep going. There was no hesitation, just that feeling of wanting to see the next one come to life.

I am not even sure what stands out to me about these. Just that I love seeing things come to life. I love fun things that come to life, and these just felt so fun.

I love seeing them together. There is something about the repetition that works. All these simple white ducks lined up, popping out of their carrots like they are in on something.

At one point I tied them all together and made a little wreath for Easter. It felt obvious once I saw them side by side, like they were meant to be together.

This one just kept me in it.
