Meet Leila:
Leila is small and tucked gently into her shell, like she has found a place that fits just right. There is a softness to her, but also a quiet instinct to make something more. When sameness started to creep in, she reached for a little extra. Not to prove anything, just to shift the feeling. She carries that subtle spark of wanting something different, even in the middle of what is already working.

Journal Day 30:
Leila is little, snuggled into her shell home. She feels held in a different way than the others, contained and cozy.

I noticed this time that another green duck did not feel like enough. The rhythm was there, the familiarity, but something in me wanted to change it. Not dramatically, just enough to feel awake to it again.

So I made her an accessory.

At first it felt like I was compensating. Like I needed to add something to make her stand out, to justify her place among the others.

But as I sat with it, it felt more like a small act of curiosity. What happens if I follow that instinct instead of ignoring it.

There is something here about sameness. How quickly it can flatten the experience, even when the act itself still holds meaning.
