Meet Lovey:
Lovey is a gentle little duck who celebrates sweetness, honours the courage to let go, and reminds us that the goals rooted in love, whether for a craft, a calling, or one another, are often the ones that endure.

Journal Day 7:
A duck made on Valentine’s Day. The first to welcome pink. A soft colour chosen to celebrate sweetness.

As I stitched Lovey, I felt grateful that I let my earlier goal gently fall away. It was not abandoned all at once. I tried harder at first. Then I noticed the strain of effort without delight. In that space of uncertainty, something clearer emerged. This new goal felt more attainable, more nourishing, more supported by the life around me.

Choosing this practice was not quitting. It was re choosing. A redirection of care toward something that could hold both effort and joy.

Lovey carries that lesson.
