Meet Pear:
Pear minds her own business. Slightly bottom heavy, a little proud of it, and not interested in being reshaped into anything more symmetrical. She knows timing matters and seems to trust hers completely. Not early, not late, just right when she is.
Journal Day 20:
Pear got her name from her shape. Simple as that.
Same yarn nearby, same pattern, and somehow she came out a little pear like. It was not something I aimed for, just something that appeared.
When I think of a pear, I think of that very specific moment when it is exactly right. Not bruised, not mushy, not hard. It feels like a small miracle when you get one like that.
I keep thinking about pears at snack time in kindergarten. Somehow they always felt perfect. Maybe they were, or maybe it was the way the teachers cut them, the way they were handed out, the feeling around it.
This one carries a bit of that.
Nothing complicated, just something that landed well without trying too hard.
