Meet Raisin:
Raisin is a quiet little duck who emerges when the thrill has passed, revealing the strength of staying. A reminder that real growth often lives in the steady middle, where softness, patience, and commitment quietly reshape what feels possible.
Journal Day 12:
Raisin is the smallest duck I have made so far.
And also, the easiest.
There is a different rhythm now.
Week two has arrived.
The novelty has softened.
The process is steadier.
Less thrilling perhaps.
No less meaningful.
My daughter lent me her yarn for this one.
A soft strand that shifts colour as you stitch.
And it changed at exactly the right moment, as if it knew.
Raisin is sweet and unassuming.
She asks to be held gently.
And yet she carries quiet strength.
This daily practice is beginning to feel like an anchor.
Less screen time.
More writing.
Ideas appearing faster than I can catch them.
A widening sense of what might be possible.
